Blood pressure (also called arterial pressure, or abbreviated as BP) refers to the pressure exerted by circulating blood on the walls of blood vessels, and constituted one of the principal vital signs of life.

Blood pressure that was "practically nonexistent" was considered "perfectly normal" for a Vulcan. (TOS: "The Naked Time")

Under certain conditions, people were known to alter their blood pressure, lower their body temperature, and manifest tumors as a result of psychological stimuli. Julian Bashir, being genetically enhanced, could control his vital signs, including his blood pressure. (DS9: "Things Past", "Extreme Measures")

In 2256, when Michael Burnham was on approach to the Beacon of Kahless, Danby Connor reported her blood pressure as 130/70. (DIS: "The Vulcan Hello")

In 2258 of the alternate reality, a critically ill Lucille Harewood's blood pressure was 65/45. (Star Trek Into Darkness)

In 2266, during Harry Mudd's hearing, the blood pressure of the men present in USS Enterprise's briefing room was higher than normal due to his lovely companions. This, among other symptoms, was detected when James T. Kirk asked Enterprise's computer to go to sensor probe. Embarrassed, he asked the computer to strike it from the record. (TOS: "Mudd's Women")

In 2366, Doctor Beverly Crusher noted that Tam Elbrun's blood pressure and glucose were indicative of general systemic stress. (TNG: "Tin Man")

In 2367, Susanna Leijten’s blood pressure fell as she began to transform into a Tarchanne. (TNG: "Identity Crisis")

Soon after, William T. Riker's blood pressure rose to 90/40 as the symbiont Odan was implanted in him. This levelled off after the symbiont had been successfully incorporated into his system. (TNG: "The Host")

In an illusory scenario that Riker experienced during Suna's neurosomatic technique, Crusher found his blood pressure to be well above normal after he experienced a nervous breakdown while performing her play Frame of Mind. (TNG: "Frame of Mind")

When Miles O'Brien was infected by harvesters in 2370, the initial signs of his infection were low blood pressure and a fever. (DS9: "Armageddon Game")

The Soong-type android Juliana Tainer was designed to give off a false biosignature, which along with an aging program, by 2370 duplicated symptoms of mild hypertension, considered normal for a 67-year-old Human. (TNG: "Inheritance")

In 2371, Vedek Bareil's arterial pressure fell rapidly after he underwent cardiac arrest. (DS9: "Life Support")

Kes's pulse and blood pressure increased to dangerously high levels as she was experiencing elogium. (VOY: "Elogium")

In 2373, Kes reported Kathryn Janeway had no blood pressure after a Janeway had invaded her cerebral cortex. It later went to 60/30, before normalizing at 110/65 after the alien had left her system. (VOY: "Coda")

In 2373, when Elim Garak experienced claustrophobia after having to work in a tight space to help rescue himself and others from Internment Camp 371, Doctor Julian Bashir commented that Garak's pulse was racing and didn't want to think about his blood pressure. (DS9: "By Inferno's Light")

Later that year, B'Elanna Torres’ blood pressure rose to 90/40 after being injured in a battle with the Nerada. (VOY: "Favorite Son")

Due to the Srivani experiments, the blood pressure of a crewmember went to the level of 360/125 and she went into a hypertensive shock shortly before she died on the bridge. (VOY: "Scientific Method")

In 2374, The Doctor found that Seven of Nine's blood pressure was slightly off, but within tolerance. This was recorded rather airily due to his preoccupation with Kovin's death, which Seven shared. (VOY: "Retrospect")

In 2377, The Doctor listed elevated blood pressure among the physiological responses which indicated when one person had romantic feelings for another. This information was supplied to Icheb, who was laboring under a misapprehension involving B'Elanna Torres. (VOY: "Nightingale")

In the writers' second draft script of ENT: "Breaking the Ice", Malcolm Reed's blood pressure was slightly low after he was rescued from an emergency in which a tear in his EV suit caused him to suffer inhalation problems. The issue regarding his low blood pressure was considered non-threatening.

According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 373, intravascular pressure, a term first mentioned in "Genesis", was an alternate name for blood pressure.
