Bonita Deneen (born 26 June 1977; age 46) is a casting assistant at April Webster Casting and was part of the casting process for Star Trek. She hails from Santa Monica, California.
Deneen worked on such television shows as Resurrection Blvd. and My Wife and Kids before joining April Webster in 2005. Another project she worked on was the drama Fierce People, filmed in 2004 and released in 2007. This movie starred Anton Yelchin, who has now been cast to play Pavel Chekov in Star Trek.
Since then, she has primarily assisted in the casting for projects developed by J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk, with her first being Abrams' film directorial debut, Paramount Pictures' Mission: Impossible III (2006). She also worked on Abrams' and Damon Lindelof's Lost.
