Bordeaux was a type of French wine from the Bordeaux region of France. In the script for "We'll Always Have Paris", in Jean-Luc Picard's re-creation of the Café des Artistes aboard the USS Enterprise-D in 2364, the waiter Edouard poured a glass of bordeaux for Picard. The waiter described the wine as coming from a very passionate year. At the request of Picard, the waiter, as well, poured a glass of Bordeaux for Gabrielle.
