According to an anything but canon account, Bragu's homeworld was the homeworld of a recently warp-capable species. This planet was located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant.
An away team from the USS Enterprise, led by Commander William T. Riker made first contact. Upon learning of their culture, they quickly left their world, but only after destroying their warp engine. (VST: "Worst Contact")
