Bribble was a unique tribble-Brikar hybrid creature, created accidentally in 2385 as a result of the Brikar Rok-Tahk sneezing onto a tribble cell culture. (PRO: "A Tribble Called Quest")
The animal appeared to be smarter than a regular tribble but not fully sentient as a Brikar. It also didn't seem to possess the absurd reproductive capabilities of regular tribbles. It became a pet of the former USS Protostar crew that switched to newly constructed USS Prodigy. (PRO: "Ouroboros, Part II")
