Robert "Big Buck" Maffei (13 July 1930 – 16 November 1982; age 52) played the Taurus II anthropoid in the Star Trek: The Original Series first season episode "The Galileo Seven". He was most probably cast in the role because of his 7' 1" (2.16 m) height.
