Bud was an orange tabby cat that portrayed Spot in Star Trek: The Next Generation beginning with the sixth season. Bud worked as back-up for Monster and Brandy which also portrayed Spot. Later, Tyler joined the other cats in the seventh season. Bud was trained by Rob Bloch and Karen Thomas-Kolakowski of Critters of the Cinema.
