In an alternate timeline, the CSS Dougherty (NCC-75489) was a Nova-class starship in service to the Confederation of Earth during the early 25th century.

In 2401, the Dougherty, along with the CSS Quinn and CSS Leyton, was dispatched to intercept the CSS La Sirena after Agnes Jurati beamed Jean-Luc Picard, Raffaela Musiker, Elnor, and Seven of Nine aboard. The ship was destroyed shortly after by a photon torpedo modified and fired by the Borg Queen. (PIC: "Assimilation")
