Camille Argus worked as a costumer on the third season of Star Trek: The Next Generation, along with Amanda Chamberlin, Kris Jorgensen, David Page, and Kimberley Thompson. She later became a costumer on Star Trek Generations and served as wardrobe supervisor for the third, fourth, and fifth season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and the first two seasons of Star Trek: Voyager, working with Carol Kunz. The Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Technical Manual features Argus' name on a personnel directory of Starbase 375.

In addition to her Star Trek credits, Argus was the costume supervisor on the films Less Than Perfect (1987), The Vanishing (1993), Big Fat Liar (2002), 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), and Gridiron Gang (2006). She was also costume supervisor on two made-for-TV movies which aired in 1999, NBC's Border Line (starring John de Lancie and Len Cariou) and the acclaimed, Emmy Award-winning Tuesdays with Morrie.

More recent credits as costume supervisor include the comedy Over Her Dead Body (2008), the comedy You Don't Mess with the Zohan (2008), the television series Surviving Suburbia (2009), and the science fiction film Battle Los Angeles (2011).
