Carl Fortina (2 May 192930 January 2014; age 84) was an orchestra contractor who worked on Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Star Trek Generations and Star Trek: The Next Generation. For the third season episode "Deja Q", he assembled 35 musicians to record the score on Friday 19 January 1990 at the 20th Century Fox Scoring Stage.

Fortina started his career as an actor/musician in front of the camera. He performed in episodes of The Spike Jones Show (1957) and The Jack Benny Program (1957). The following years, Fortina worked as musician on films including How the West Was Won (1962) and Pressure Point (1962).

His work as orchestra contractor and orchestra manager include Iceman (1984, with music scoring mixer Dan Wallin), Little Shop of Horrors (1986), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Frankie and Johnny (1991), Leap of Faith (1992), Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult (1994), Clueless (1995), Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (1998), and Where's Marlowe? (1998).
