Cary Grant was a male Human actor who lived on Earth during a large portion of the 20th century.
Commander Pelia, who once knew Grant, mentioned him to Ensign Brad Boimler in 2259, while discussing the subject of heroes. She explained over the course of her long lifetime, that "most heroes I've seen are just pretending half the time," and then spoke of Grant, stating that he had once told her, "I pretended to be somebody I wanted to be until finally I became that person… or he became me." Boimler took this advice to mean that he should take matters into his own hands and fix the situation he created that was going to force the settlers on Setlik II to be relocated. In an alternate 2374, when the USS Voyager was severely damaged by the Krenim, B'Elanna Torres wrongly remembered Clark Gable starring in the movie To Catch a Thief, when in fact it had been Cary Grant. Harry Kim believed that this mistake came from the identical initials of the two, C.G. (VOY: "Year of Hell")
