Casey Erklin is an actor who worked as stand-in on two Star Trek productions. He first stood-in for Gregg Sargeant on Thursday 23 August 2001 during filming of the Star Trek: Enterprise first season episode "The Andorian Incident". He then worked as stand-in on Star Trek Nemesis.

Erklin graduated with an Associate of Arts from the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois in 1994. In 2006, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from the Northern Illinois University.

Between 1995 and 2006, he worked as professional stand-in on film and television in Los Angeles. Among the projects he worked as stand-in on are the comedy Angus (1995, with Robert Curtis Brown, Lawrence Pressman, and Greg Bronson), the comedy American Pie (1999), the comedy Orange County (2002, with George Murdock, Manu Intiraymi, Grace Bustos, and David Doty), the comedy The Third Wheel (2002, with Jeanette Miller), the television movie Zero Effect (2002, with fellow stand-in Lena Milan), the television special 2003 MTV Movie Awards (2003, with Kirsten Dunst and Famke Janssen), and the television series Grosse Pointe (2000-2001, working with fellow stand-in Grace Bustos), Leap of Faith (2002), Girls Club (2002, co-starring Brian Markinson and Lisa Banes), Dragnet (2003), and Big Love (2006, with Grace Bustos, Robert Stahoviak, and Joel McKinnon Miller).

As an actor, Erklin was featured in the comedies American Pie (1999, with Clyde Kusatsu, Lawrence Pressman, and John Cho) and Orange County (2002) and in the Dragnet episode "Sticks and Stones" (2003, with Erick Avari, Brent Hinkley, Ellen Bry, and Kat Sawyer-Young).

In 1999, he worked as Goodman Theater Intern in Chicago and following his Bachelor of Science, he has started working as teacher at the Haskin and Woodbury Elementary School in Illinois (2006-2010), the Kennedy Krieger High School in Baltimore (2012-2013), in the Glen Ellyn School District 41 (2014-2015), and the Indian Prairie School District 204 (2015-2016). Since December 2015, Erklin has been working as physical education teacher at the Naperville Community Unit School District 203 and as Facilitator/ Experiential Educator at the Lincoln Marsh Challenge Course in Wheaton, Illinois.
