Cassandra Byram (born 2 February 1956; age 63) is an actress and singer who played the USS Saratoga flight controller in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine first season episode "Emissary".
Byram appeared in a few episodes of Jake and the Fatman (with Judson Scott) in the early 1990s and also chalked up some minor film roles, such as in City Hall. Her husband, Amick Byram, guest-starred twice on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Together with her husband she recorded the album "Hymns Renewed". [1]
