Catherine Gotthoffer (12 April 1923–29 December 2014; age 91) was a prolific harpist for film and television.
She played the harp for the backing track of the song "Beyond Antares" in TOS: "The Conscience of the King", and also for Star Trek: The Motion Picture and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
Gotthoffer died at the age of 91 at her home in Hermosa Beach, California. [1]
