Celeste Escalera worked as production assistant and later as production coordinator on several special features for the Blu-ray releases of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Enterprise.

In 2013, Escalera worked as production coordinator on the short family film One More Day. Besides her work on the Star Trek special features, she also worked on other special features for different genres such as The Kindred Chronicles (2013, with Brigid Brannagh, James L. Conway, and Jeff Kober), In Conversation: Writing Now and Then (2014, with René Echevarria), and Gimme a Sign: Engineering Now and Then (2014, with René Echevarria and Gerrit Graham). In 2018, she was the executive assistant to Roger Lay, Jr. and Eric Carnagey on the family comedy Aliens Ate My Homework, screenplay by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens and featuring the voice of William Shatner.
