Central Casting is a casting company specialized in casting background performers, stand-ins and body doubles. The company was established in 1925 and is located in Burbank, California, USA. In 2006 Central Casting opened its New York division, followed by a Louisiana division in 2014, and a Georgia division in 2016.

Central Casting worked on the following Star Trek television series and feature films:

Regular Next Generation background actor, stand-in and photo double Guy Vardaman was cast through Central Casting for his first Trek appearance in the first season episode "Too Short A Season". Mary Meinel-Newport was also represented by Central Casting when she was hired to work on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine [1] as were Cathy DeBuono [2], Susan Raborn [3], Ralph Moratz, Robin Morselli, Rebecca Rose, David Getz, Trina Mortley, and Josh Moreno.
