Central Casting is a casting company specialized in casting background performers, stand-ins and body doubles. The company was established in 1925 and is located in Burbank, California, USA. In 2006 Central Casting opened its New York division.

Central Casting worked on the following Star Trek television series and feature films:

Regular Next Generation background actor, stand-in and photo double Guy Vardaman was cast through Central Casting for his first Trek appearance in the first season episode "Too Short a Season". Mary Meinel-Newport was also represented by Central Casting when she was hired to work on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine [1] as were Cathy DeBuono [2], Susan Raborn [3], Ralph Moratz, and Rebecca Rose.
