Charles Bidwell (30 March 192418 March 1999; age 74) was an actor who worked as a stand-in on the Star Trek: The Original Series original pilot "The Cage". His name appeared on the call sheet for Day 13 of filming, 15 December 1964, during the filming of scenes 66, 74, 24 (retake), and 97-101 along with Carol Daniels.

As of early 1948, Bidwell worked for two years as actor Robert Ryan's stand-in on various projects, including Ryan's Academy Award nominated role in Crossfire (1947). During this time, Bidwell also produced a series of travel shorts released by RKO. (LA Evening Citizen News, Volume 43, Number 298, p. 12, 12 March 1948)

He worked as stand-in for Edson Stroll in Snow White and The Three Stooges (1961; with William Blackburn) [1], for Stephen Boyd on the musical comedy Billy Rose's Jumbo (1962, with Janos Prohaska, John Burnside, Chuck Couch, Walt Davis, Shep Houghton, and Paul Power), for Ronald Long and Bern Hoffman on the television series Lost in Space (1967, with Bill Mumy and Sandra Gimpel).

Bidwell was featured as uncredited silent bit actor in Paul Newman's action drama Sometimes a Great Notion (1971, with Michael Sarrazin, Cliff Potts, Roy Jenson, Alan Gibbs, Hal Needham, Charles Horvath, and Carol Daniels).

He again worked as a stand-in for Robert Preston on the musical Mame (1974, with Lucille Ball, Bruce Davison, Jerry Ayres, Barbara Bosson, Vic Christy, Peter Eastman, Bob Harks, Lars Hensen, Robert Hitchcock, Jim Michael, and Clark Ross).
