Charles Macaulay (26 September 192713 August 1999; age 71) was an actor who played Landru in the Star Trek: The Original Series first season episode "The Return of the Archons" and Jaris in the second season episode "Wolf in the Fold".

He filmed his scenes for "The Return of the Archons" on Monday 12 December 1966 and Tuesday 13 December 1966 at Desilu Stage 10. He filmed his scenes for "Wolf in the Fold" between Tuesday 27 June 1967 and Friday 30 June 1967 at Stage 9 and Stage 10.

Born in Kentucky, Macaulay (sometimes credited as Charles Macauley) worked from the early sixties to the early nineties, including several appearances as Perry Mason's hapless opponent, District Attorney Hamilton Burger, towards the end of his career. His aristocratic bearing and sonorous voice often led him to be cast as judges, doctors, attorneys, and other authority figures. He died in California of cancer in 1999.

He starred as Count Dracula in Blacula (1972) with fellow Star Trek guest actors Elisha Cook, Thalmus Rasulala, and William Marshall, who portrayed the title role.
