Chase Hoyt (born 29 August 1980; age 43) is the actor who portrayed the relief helmsman in the Star Trek: Enterprise fourth season episode "Terra Prime". As an extra, he received no credit for his appearance. His costume was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay and was previously worn by Noel Manzano and originally intended for Matt Winston. [1]

Hoyt was born as Chase Henry Hoyt in Tucson, Arizona and attended the Lawrence Academy in Groton, Massachusetts. He earned his BA in theater and business from the University of Arizona and also played for the local hockey team.

Hoyt performed in the 2000 television drama American Tragedy, alongside Star Trek actors Clyde Kusatsu, Christopher Plummer, Richard Cox, Jeff Kober, Francis Guinan, Raymond Forchion, Ian Patrick Williams, and Scott Klace, in the 2000 short thriller The Translator and had a supporting role in Martin Scorcese's 2004 bio drama The Aviator. Hoyt continued with performances in the horror thriller Legion of the Dead (2005, with Zach Galligan), the horror film Dr. Chopper (2005), and the television comedy What I did for Love (2006, with James Lashly).

Among his television appearances are episodes of American Dreams (2003, starring Ethan Dampf), Eve (2003), Numb3rs (2005), and Fear Factor (2005). Hoyt has also played in several independent and short films, including Yellow Butterfly, Out of the Shadows, and Afterlife.
