A dinner with chopsticks in the captain's mess in 2151

Chopsticks were an eating utensil that originated in the Asian region of Earth. They consisted of thin rods, approximately twenty centimeters in length, which were manipulated by one hand for grasping food in between the two.

In 2151, Captain Jonathan Archer, Sub-commander T'Pol, Commander Trip Tucker, and Ensign Travis Mayweather used chopsticks for their dinner at the captain's mess following their success in solving the mystery of the Terra Nova colony. (ENT: "Terra Nova")

T'Pol had trouble eating with chopsticks. On one occasion, Captain Jonathan Archer told Commander Tucker about T'Pol's "latest bout with chopsticks", to which Tucker complained that he had missed "dinner and a show". (ENT: "Silent Enemy")

In the mirror universe, chopsticks were used by Philippa Georgiou on board the ISS Charon to eat Kelpien threat ganglia. (DIS: "Vaulting Ambition")

In 2370, Jean-Luc Picard used chopsticks to eat a meal in his quarters aboard the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "The Pegasus")

In 2375, Weyoun 6 used chopsticks to eat aboard the USS Rio Grande after defecting to the Federation. (DS9: "Treachery, Faith and the Great River")

In 2380, Beckett Mariner was eating noodles with chopsticks, spilling broth onto the console of the Yosemite before a trip down to Tulgana IV. (LD: "Envoys")
