Chris Arnold worked as an Art Department Assistant on the 2016 sequel Star Trek Beyond, directed by Justin Lin. [1]

Born in Findlay, Ohio, USA, Arnold attended the Findlay High School and between 2000 and 2005 the Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, USA where he graduated with a BS in Landscape Architecture. Following his graduation, Arnold worked as Project Landscape Architect for the company VHB Associates in Orlando, Florida until January 2011. Following an one year stint as Project Coordinator for LPA Associates in Irvine, California, he worked as Senior Landscape Designer for ima Design until August 2014. Projects with ima also include a collaboration with Disney Imagineering for which he worked as Architectural Designer on the Shanghai Disney theme park.

Arnold worked as graphic designer and 3D modeler on projects for Aaron's Rent to Own and Volvo. Further projects as graphic designer include New Droogs: Web Series, The Berman Boys: Reality, Cloning the Soul, Cooking with Chef Shafer, and the DVD special "Gag Reel" for the television series Scandal. Prior to his work on Star Trek, Arnold worked as Art Department Assistant on Arthur To's Faulkner "Triumph of the Underdogs" and for production designer Whitney Donald as props assistant on the 2012 short film First in Flight, music by James Horner and casting by Jessica Sherman.
