Christopher "Chris" Ishii is a camera operator who worked as Prep First Assistant Camera Operator on the Star Trek: Enterprise first season episode "Terra Nova" and as First Assistant Camera Operator on the video game Star Trek: Borg. He is the son of the late animator and director Chris K. Ishii.
Ishii worked as sound effect editor on The Dark (1979) and as sound editor on Silent Rage (1982, with Michael Hilkene and John Kline).
He then moved into the camera and electrical department as camera trainee on Doctor Detroit (1983). The following years he worked as assistant camera operator on Silverado (1985), Cobra (1986, with Don Whipple), Stand by Me (1986, starring Wil Wheaton and Jerry O'Connell with camera operator Craig Denault), Armed and Dangerous (1986), Dad (1989), The Hot Spot (1990), Against the Wall (1994), Models Inc. (1994, with Jeff Case), Bound (1996, with Shawn Whelan and Kenneth E. Estes), and the comedy Wheelmen (2002).
