Chris Obi (born 24 September 1970; age 51) is the actor who played T'Kuvma in the first two episodes of Star Trek: Discovery, "The Vulcan Hello" and "Battle at the Binary Stars".

His costume was sold off on the Prop Store Star Trek: Discovery online auction in September 2021. [1].

He appeared, among others, in an episode of Doctor Who, the TV mini-series State of Play, and the movies Snow White and the Huntsman (starring Chris Hemsworth) and Roots. He also appeared as Mr. Jacquel / Anubis in American Gods (created by Bryan Fuller) and the feature film Ghost in the Shell. He also appeared in a short movie called Romulus in 2013.

In July 2019, Obi was arrested in London with the charge of sexually assaulting six female acting students of his between 2012 and 2018. He has denied the accusations and has been released on bail. [2] [3]
