Christopher Friend is a Visual Effects Artist who worked as Cyberscanning/Photogrammetry Artist for the company Clear Angle Studios LTD on the 2016 sequel Star Trek Beyond in April 2015. Since March 2013, Friend is the director and co-founder of Clear Angle Studios LTD, located in London, Great Britain, UK. [1]

Between 2001 and 2004, Friend attended the Stellenbosch University in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa. Between 2012 and 2013 he worked on the support service for the British Heart Foundation, Business to Business Marketing Manager for Action Retailer, and EMEA Sales Coordinator for Drift Innovation.

Among the projects he worked for as part of the company are the fantasy film Dracula Untold (2014), the fifth season of the television series Game of Thrones (2014), the sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015, starring Chris Hemsworth, produced by Stan Lee, and music by Brian Tyler), the science fiction film The Martian (2015), the drama In the Heart of the Sea (2015, starring Chris Hemsworth), the fantasy adventure Pan (2015), the fantasy sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016), and the adventure Tarzan (2016), the fantasy film Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016), the fantasy film Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur (2016, starring Eric Bana and produced by Akiva Goldsman), the fantasy film Beauty and the Beast (2017), and the adventure Jungle Book: Origins (2017, starring Benedict Cumberbatch).
