Christopher Heyerdahl (born 18 September 1963; age 60) is a Canadian actor who portrayed Wen in the Star Trek: Discovery third season episode "People of Earth".
Heyerdahl's father emigrated to Canada from Norway in the 1950s. He is related to famed Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl. He is best known to television audiences for his recurring role as "The Swede" in the 2011-16 series Hell on Wheels, starring Anson Mount and Colm Meaney.
Between 2016 and 2021, Heyerdahl co-starred as Sam in the action fantasy series Van Helsing. He played the recurring characters Halling and Todd in Stargate Atlantis (with Richard Dean Anderson, Steven Culp, Richard Kind, Colm Meaney, Paul McGillion, Nicole de Boer, Robert Picardo, Michael Shanks, Connor Trinneer, Kenneth Welsh) from 2004 to 2009.
Most recently, he played the recurring role of Captain Caspar Locke in the 2022 superhero series Peacemaker, co-starring Dee Bradley Baker.
