Claire Rankin (born 23 January 1971; age 53) is the Canadian actress who appeared as both manifestations of the shuttlecraft Alice in the Star Trek: Voyager sixth season episode "Alice". She is probably best known for her recurring role of Dr. Kate Heightmeyer on Stargate: Atlantis (2004-2007).
She has appeared in such films as Death Wish V: The Face of Death (1994, with Robert Joy and Saul Rubinek), Two If by Sea (1996, with Mike Starr), and John Q. (2002, with Larissa Laskin and Vanessa Branch).
Some of the other television series on which she has guest-starred include Forever Knight as Fleur, multiple episodes of The Outer Limits (with the voice of Kevin Conway), Any Day Now (with Steven Culp), Chicago Hope (1998, starring Jayne Brook, with Tamlyn Tomita), The Drew Carey Show (with Diedrich Bader), Ally McBeal (with Albert Hall), Without a Trace, The District (with Roger Aaron Brown), and Charmed.
In 2008 she appeared the films One of Our Own and Vipers.
In 2013, she was a guest star on Nikita in its final season along with Melinda Clarke. Among Rankin's later projects was Molly's Game (2017, with Idris Elba).
