Claudia La Grippe (born 12 April 1951; age 74) is an actress who played an Evora delegation member in Star Trek: Insurrection. She received no on-screen credit for her appearance and was identified by the name tag of her costume which was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay and misspelled her as "Claudia Lagruppe". La Grippe started her acting career in the late 1970s and worked as stand-in and photo double on several films and television series including the comedy series Valerie and Little House on the Prairie. Her first job in the entertainment industry was as a child photo double in the television movie Child Under Glass. La Grippe worked as an extra on the Wonder Woman episode "Spaced Out" (1979, with René Auberjonois and Steven Anderson) and covered as stand-in for Felix Silla in his role of Twiki on a couple of episodes of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century in 1981 when his regular stand-in worked on the comedy Under the Rainbow.
She worked as background actress on the comedy I Wanna Hold Your Hand (1978, with Dick Miller, Troy Melton, Gene LeBell, Victor Brandt, Ivy Bethune, Leslie Hoffman, Jimmy Nickerson, George Sawaya, and Rick Sawaya), Every Which Way but Loose (1978, with William O'Connell, Chuck Hicks, George Wilbur, Gene LeBell, Benjie Bancroft, Clay Hodges, Debra Dilley, and Judson Scott), Pennies from Heaven (1981, with Nancy Parsons, Arell Blanton, George Wilbur, William Frankfather, Jim Boeke, and Terrence Beasor), the drama Angel Dusted (1981, with John Putch, Percy Rodriguez, Jerry Hardin, and Charles Lucia), Right of Way (1983, with Mark L. Taylor and Michael Canavan), and The Thorn Birds (1983, with Christopher Plummer, Brett Cullen, John de Lancie, Jean Simmons, Philip Anglim, Richard Kiley, Antoinette Bower, Meg Wyllie, Nan Martin, and Danny Nero).
La Grippe also worked as hand double on Back to the Future (1985, starring Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson and Thomas F.
