Clyde Kusatsu (born 13 September 1948; age 73) played the recurring role of Vice Admiral Nakamura in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes "The Measure Of A Man", "Phantasms", and "All Good Things...". Kusatsu auditioned for the role of Quark in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. 
He guest-starred in "Boy Next Door", an episode of Ally McBeal which starred the late Roy Brocksmith, Star Trek: Enterprise and Star Trek Nemesis star Steven Culp, DS9 guest stars Gina Philips and Kate Asner, and Star Trek: Voyager guest star Jay Karnes. He appeared in a number of Kung Fu episodes including "Sun and Cloud Shadow", which guest-starred Morgan Woodward. He had a minor role in the 1979 movie The Frisco Kid alongside TNG guest actor Vincent Schiavelli and Star Trek: The Original Series guest actor Ian Wolfe. More recently, he appeared in the 2008 comedy Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay, playing the father of John Cho's Harold, along with an episode apiece of William Shatner's $#*! My Dad Says and the new Hawaii Five-0.
In 1987, Kusatsu made a brief appearance in the final season premiere episode of The Facts of Life, playing a construction contractor in a two part episode also featuring Richard Moll. Other Star Trek alumni who appeared on the series were Roger Perry, Kenneth Tigar, Paul Comi, Robert DoQui, Nehemiah Persoff, Clive Revill, Eve Smith, William Windom, Nicholas Coster, Robert Hooks, and Ian Wolfe. Armin Shimerman also appeared in the premiere episode of the show's seventh season.
As a Screen Actors Guild member, Kusatsu worked in several positions for this union and was voted to serve as SAG National Board alternate and to the Hollywood Division Board of Directors in 2009.  In 2015, Kusatsu was voted Vice President of the Los Angeles Local at the National Board of Directors for the 2015-2017 period of SAG-AFTRA.
