The Coltrane was a Federation Type 6A shuttlecraft assigned to the USS Titan.
In 2381, it transported the away team from the Titan to Karzill IV. After the away team was beamed back to the Titan (and accidentlly creating the transporter clone of Brad Boimler), the damaged shuttle returned to the ship, piloted by the original Brad Boimler. (LD: "Kayshon, His Eyes Open")
Given Captain Riker's fondness of the saxophone and jazz, this shuttle was likely named after John Coltrane.
