Convoy liaison officer was the title given to a civilian liaison officer who coordinated convoy movements with Starfleet during the Dominion War.
In late 2374, Kasidy Yates agreed to take the job as liaison officer aboard the USS Defiant for the PQ-1 convoy, as she knew many of the freighter captains involved with the mission. (DS9: "The Sound of Her Voice")
