The Credence type had multiple cargo holds aboard for transporting cargo. The USS Credence's cargo hold 5 featured "USSC-CH" signage, and had an external viewport.
In 3190, the USS Credence was a ship of this type in operation, delivering dilithium on goodwill missions for the Federation when J'Vini attacked it while it's shields were down. (DIS: "Choose to Live")

The Credence type was designed by Lee Fitzgerald. The design, which called for "6 nacelles and two primary hulls each with their own bridge section," was originally intended for an earlier episode, but was cut from that script. [1]
The Credence's cargo hold was a redress of the USS Discovery corridor set.
