Gotana-Retz had Sky Ship toys hanging above his crib as a child, something he recalled seeing before his mother's face. (VOY: "Blink of an Eye")

In 2367, Wesley Crusher watched a holo-recording his father Jack R. Crusher had recorded when Wesley was only 10 weeks old. In it, Jack mentioned realizing as he watched baby Wesley lying in his crib that he knew nothing about being a father. (TNG: "Family")

Later that year, after having his intelligence enhanced by the Cytherian probe, Reginald Barclay responded to Deanna Troi's comments about his behavior frightening the crew of USS Enterprise-D, comparing them to young children who, despite their fear of the world, should not be allowed by their parents to remain in their cribs. (TNG: "The Nth Degree")

In 2373, Miles O'Brien had a sleepless night due to Kirayoshi's crying every time he put the child in his crib, which Miles attributed to the Kirayoshi's missing his mother. (DS9: "Business as Usual")

In 2377, upon learning that he and B'Elanna Torres were having a baby, Tom Paris suggested replicating an antique crib, but B'elanna told him they would have to rearrange their furnishings first to make room. (VOY: "Lineage") They eventually hung a mobile above the crib featuring colorful miniature versions of the USS Voyager, a Klingon Bird-of-Prey, and a Klingon cruiser. (VOY: "Prophecy")
