Cromarty Whiskey was a type of alcoholic whiskey.
Lt. Reginald Barclay had a bottle and glass of Cromarty Whiskey in Ten Forward in one of his holodeck simulations. (TNG: "Hollow Pursuits")
Cromarty is an area of northern Scotland, hinting that he may be drinking Scotch. Strictly speaking, Scotch whisky is spelled without the "e", unlike Irish whiskey.
