A crystal ball was a precognitive prop made of crystal, which was a staple of Human popular culture.
The Beastie Boys song "Sabotage" had the lyric: "Your crystal ball ain't so crystal clear." (Star Trek)
In 2024, LAPD officer Strauss misheard Cristóbal Rios's name as "Crystal Ball", and asked if it was a stage name. Later, in the police station waiting area, Francis Puga told Seven of Nine and Raffaela Musiker they were in the wrong place to find "Crystal Ball," and that they needed to check out Immigration and Customs.
