Cuauhtemoc Sanchez (born 15 April 1964; age 55) is a best-selling Mexican writer, philosopher, motivational speaker, entrepreneur and actor who appeared as a Bajoran crewman in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Shadows and Symbols". This is his only know acting performance to date.
He is named after the last Aztec Emperor, Cuauhtemoc, whom opposed the last and forceful resistance against the Spanish conquerors. Carlos Cuauhtemoc Sanchez graduated with honors as an Industrial Engineer specializing in Business Administration, he also represented Mexico at the Cycling World Championship in Germany, earning the Speed World Record.
