In a graphic created for the Starbase Yorktown command center, but not seen in the final copy of Star Trek Beyond, the Cygnus system was a planetary system where, in 2263, there was a planetary survey of Cygnus VII by the Federation. Additionally it also contained Cygnus II. The system's primary was an Alpha Cygni variable.
