The D'kyr-type support craft was a relatively large mid-22nd century support craft carried aboard Vulcan D'kyr-type starships. The support craft was docked inside the engine hoop of its mother ship. (ENT: "Shockwave, Part II")

In 2154, a craft of this type was among the air traffic near the Vulcan capital city. (ENT: "Home")

Background information

Designer John Eaves regarded the support craft as a kind of rescue vessel similar to a DSRV used by the US Navy. [1]

This craft is known as the "Tal'Kyr Support Craft" in Star Trek Online.
