Star Trek: Discovery - L'intégrale des saisons 1 & 2, or Star Trek: Discovery - Seizoen/Saison 1 & 2 as it is titled on the Belgian edition, is an European DVD Region 2-only release, featuring the complete first, and second seasons of Star Trek: Discovery in 576i standard-definition. The slipcase box set, housing the regular plastic DVD snapcases of both seasons, was released in Europe around the turn of November/December 2019 in France, the Benelux, and Spain only.

Contrary to most other Star Trek home video format releases, the retailers of choice were this time around not the local branches of Amazon.com in the Spanish and francophone areas of these territories, but rather the local branches of the French Fnac chain retailer. [1][2][3] Belgian copies (which habitually feature bi-lingual packaging) sold in the Netherlands on the other hand, were primarily sold through the local Amazon, Wehkamp [4] and Bol.com [5] retailers, as Fnac does not maintain a presence in that country.

The box set is essentially a repackaging of the prior individual season releases as issued in France and Belgium. The disc contents of this release are therefore identical to those of the individual season releases.

Background information

• The packaging style was inspired by that of the first season Australian retailer exclusive Blu-ray Disc release in that country the year previously, in 2018.
• While the French and Benelux releases have seen concurrent Blu-ray counterparts, no such counterpart is know for the Spanish Star Trek: Discovery - Temporadas 1 y 2 DVD release. The Spanish release incidentally, was also playable in Region 4, [6] and had therefore also been available in Australasia and Latin-America as imports.
• The Benelux release was subtitled as was customary for that territory, whereas the French and Spanish releases featured standard in those languages dubbed audio tracks, as was customary for those territories.
