Background information

Despite being credited as a "Special Guest Star", Michelle Yeoh received credit in the main titles for most of her appearances as either Captain Georgiou or Emperor Georgiou. The only exception was in "The Wolf Inside", in which she was credited in the end credits in order to conceal a plot twist.

Beginning with season 2, only main cast members who appear in an episode are credited in the main titles with few exceptions. Mary Wiseman is credited in "Through the Valley of Shadows" despite not appearing in that episode. "That Hope Is You, Part 1" only featured Sonequa Martin-Green and David Ajala out of the main cast. Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, and Mary Wiseman were credited for that episode despite not appearing; however, Wilson Cruz and Rachael Ancheril were not.
