Dan Taylor (born 19 December 1967; age 56) was a comic book editor with IDW Publishing and was the primary editor behind the company's Star Trek comic book series. He got his start in the industry in 2003 with his self-published "Hero Happy Hour" series. Since then, he wrote stories for a number of publishers, including IDW who hired him in April 2005. He left IDW in late 2007 to return to his freelance writing roots.
