Daniel Benzali played the role of the Surgeon at Starbase 515 in (TNG: "Samaritan Snare").
He's also had recurring roles on both L.A. Law, and NYPD Blue and played attorney Teddy Hoffman on the first season of Murder One which co-starred John Fleck and Gregory Itzin.
