Daniel Stewart (born 1967) is the actor who played Batai in the I AM ERROR fifth season episode "The Inner Light" in 1992. He is the son of Patrick Stewart, who also played his on-screen father Kamin in this episode. Stewart received special thanks in the end credits of the 2011 Star Trek documentary The Captains.

The younger Stewart can also be seen in the 1986 mini-series Shaka Zulu. He worked with his father for a second time in the 1993 television movie Death Train. Since then, the younger Stewart has made appearances on Space: Above and Beyond (1995, with John Lendale Bennett, Lanei Chapman, Robin Curtis, Michael Harney, and Mark Lentry), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2001, with Armand Schultz), and Without a Trace (2006, starring Enrique Murciano).

More recent work includes the drama So Close (2009) and the short film Ronnie's Rat (2009). Beside 2009 and 2010 he also appeared in the stage plays "Hamlet" and "Twelfth Night" at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. In 2015, he appeared in an episode of his father's new series Blunt Talk, again playing the son of Patrick's character.
