Daran V native

Daran V natives were a species native to the planet Daran V of the Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

In 2268, the asteroid ship Yonada was on a collision course with Daran V threatening the planet's population of approximately 3.724 billion, that, according to Captain James T. Kirk, would cause their extermination. The USS Enterprise was ultimately successful in saving the planet and its inhabitants. (TOS: "For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky")

This species was only mentioned in dialogue.

According to the novel Ex Machina, the natives of Daran V were a pterodactyl-like race called the Shesshran (β). They had silver skin, a long sharp beak, bat-like wings and a saurian tail.
