David George “Dave” Pondella (15 January 1940–19 April 2024; age 84) [1] was the former head of Set Lighting at Paramount Studios who worked variously as a lamp operator, assistant chief lighting technician and second unit assistant chief lighting technician on the first season of Star Trek: Enterprise. He was also a lamp operator on the second season episode "The Catwalk".
