David Alexander (23 December 1914 – 6 March 1983; age 68) was the director of two episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series: "Plato's Stepchildren" and "The Way to Eden".
He also directed two episodes of Gene Roddenberry's previous series, The Lieutenant (1963-64) starring Gary Lockwood. One of them, "Capp's Lady" guest starred James Gregory.
