David B. Levinson (born 14 October 1948; age 75) is an actor who was the main stand-in for Armin Shimerman and played the recurring background role of Broik throughout the run of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, with his only on-screen credit being in "The Dogs of War". In addition he portrayed several other background parts and received no credit for almost all of his appearances. One of his costumes as Broik was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay [1](X) as well as his Sisko's Creole Kitchen waiter costume. [2](X)

Levinson appeared in the pilots of three Star Trek series: TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint", DS9: "Emissary" and VOY: "Caretaker". He also appeared in the finales of two Star Trek series: TNG: "All Good Things..." and DS9: "What You Leave Behind".

Murray Abraham, Francis Guinan, Cassandra Byram, Craig Benton, Alex Daniels, and Frank Welker), the Family Matters episode "Odd Man In" (1997), the crime movie Bob's Video (2000, with Christopher Ogden and Corey Burton), the crime comedy Saving Silverman (2001, with Mark Wagner, Noby Arden, and John MacDonald), and the comedy Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot (2018, with John Balma, Suzy Sincock, Janell Haney, and Oliver Keller).
