David B. Maccabee, also known as Mack MacReady, (born 7 March 1953; age 71) is an actor who appeared as a member of the Federation Archaeology Council in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episode "Qpid". He filmed his scenes on Friday 8 February 1991 on Paramount Stage 8.
Beside his work on Star Trek, Maccabee also appeared in episodes of Rescue 911 (1990), Good Sports (1991), and Quantum Leap (1991, with Scott Bakula, Dean Stockwell, and Neal McDonough). His film work include City Slickers (1991, with Noble Willingham, David Paymer, Tracey Walter, Robert Costanzo, and Walker Brandt), the television drama Aftermath: A Test of Love (1991, with Raye Birk, Scott Jaeck, John Cothran, Jr., Marjorie Monaghan, and Biff Yeager), Love, Lies and Murder (1991, with Clancy Brown, Megan Butler, Ken Jenkins, and Angela Paton), Wedlock (1991, with Basil Wallace, Richard Gilbert-Hill, and Tina Lifford), the short romance For All It's Worth (1994, with Dan Woren), and the independent films Who Shot Christos and The Little Flower.
