David Baronoff (born 29 November 1976; age 48) is the creative executive for Bad Robot, where he works with J.J. Abrams. In this capacity, he was the associate producer on 2009's Star Trek. [1] He also served as creative consultant on the Star Trek: Countdown comic book series for IDW Publishing and as producer for the video game Star Trek D-A-C. More recently, Baronoff worked as associate producer on Star Trek Into Darkness.
Baronoff is an alumni of The University of Pennsylvania and initially pursued on a legal career in New York City. [2] He was Bad Robot's associate producer on Paramount Pictures' Cloverfield (2008). He was also part of the production on the television series What About Brian and Lost, both executive-produced by Abrams.
He is currently married to Jennifer Wolbransky.
