David Baronoff (born 29 November 1976; age 43) is the creative executive for Bad Robot, where he works with J.J. Abrams. In this capacity, he was the associate producer on 2009's Star Trek.  He also served as creative consultant on the Star Trek: Countdown comic book series for IDW Publishing and as producer for the video game Star Trek D-A-C. More recently, Baronoff worked as associate producer on Star Trek Into Darkness.
Baronoff is an alumni of The University of Pennsylvania and initially pursued on a legal career in New York City.  He was Bad Robot's associate producer on Paramount Pictures' 2008 film Cloverfield. He was also part of the production on the television series What About Brian and Lost, both executive-produced by Abrams.
He is currently married to Jennifer Wolbransky.
