David R. Berlatsky (21 July 193312 July 2018; age 84) was an editor who worked on the Star Trek: The Next Generation first season episode "Haven".

Berlatsky's credits started in 1969 when working as editor on Viva Max!. He then worked as editor on the drama The Jesus Trip (1971) on which he also worked as visual designer. Further credits as editor include The Last Movie (1971), Kansas City Bomber (1972), Hickey & Boggs (1972), A Cold Night's Death (1973), Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (1973), Shanks (1974), King (1978, starring Paul Winfield) for which he received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Film Editing in a Drama Series, the television drama Red Flag: The Ultimate Game (1981), Family Sins (1987), Not Quite Human 2 (1989, starring Jay Underwood), Still Not Quite Human (1992), Night of the Running Man (1995), The Ex (1997), and the action film The Base (1999, with color timer Jim Passon and negative cutter Theresa Repola Mohammed).

Berlatsky made his directing debut in 1977 with The Farmer and worked as associate producer on Public Enemies (1996) on which he also worked as editor.
