David Goldfarb is an assistant director who worked as DGA Trainee on the seventh season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. His name appeared on an okudagram in the episode "Inheritance". Goldfarb later worked as additional second assistant director on Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek: Insurrection.

Goldfarb was DGA Trainee on several episodes of the television series Baywatch (1994-1995) and on the drama Red Ribbon Blues (1996, with second assistant director Ron Kinwald). His credits as second and second second assistant director include episodes of 7th Heaven (starring Catherine Hicks and Stephen Collins), The Pretender (1997), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1998-1999), Ally McBeal (2002, with Nancy P. Townsend), The Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire (2003), Fashion House (2006), and 90210 (2008). He also worked on films such as the family movie The Adventures of Ragtime (1998), the drama Blues (2008), the short drama The Journal (2008), the comedy Legacy (2008), and the comedy First Dates (2010).
